In reviewing this website today, I felt as though the current header design for posts was too cluttered. Therefore, in this tutorial I walk though the process of using Blox to change the design, live. At its core, this tutorial shows you how to add a custom banner image to post pages using a local block. The banner pulls the post’s featured image. There is an added twist in that we customize the background of the block to match the color of the featured image.
