Content Options

Content Types

What kind of content do you want to add to your Genesis powered website? Blox comes with four default content types: raw content, editor content, static image and slideshow. Straight out of the box you will be able to add virtually any content to your site, even PHP! Additional content types are also available via add-ons.

50+ Block Positions

50+ Block Positions

Once you have setup your blocks content, you need to decide where on the page it should be displayed. Blox takes full advantage of the hooks included with the Genesis Framework to provide you with over 50 unique positions. A few core Wordpress action hooks are included as well to provide maximum flexibility.

Any Location

Any Location

Next up is block location. Blox includes a powerful webpage selector that allows you to precisely determine where your block will show up. Blox also includes local content blocks that can be added directly via the editor screen of any page, post, or custom post type. Local blocks only display on the webpages they are attached to.

Conditional Visibility

Conditional Visibility

Blox includes conditional visibility settings that allows you restrict content to only those who meet your requirements. You can restrict by user role, hide from the public and more. You can also easily disable any block at any time. Need more functionality? Time and date visibility restriction are available via the Scheduler Add-on.

Style your way...

Style Your Way

Blox gives you the power to add virtually anything to your website. However, the plugin does not hold your hand and impose it's own styling on you! Instead you are given everything you need to style your content your way. Some general knowledge of CSS is recommended. That said, we are always just a support ticket away if you need guidance.
