Overview
Between WordPress Core, The Genesis Framework and the thousands of third-party plugins available today, there are some amazing widgets out there. Blox comes with four content types by default: Static Image, Raw Content, Editor Content, and Slideshow. While you can create some impressive content blocks with these options, there are times when it would be great if you could add a widget to a block. With the Widgets Add-on you now can!
The video below gives you a brief introduction to the Widgets Add-on and walks through an example of setting up widgets in a global content block.
Requirements
All Blox add-ons are downloadable for free with the purchase of a Multisite or Developer Bundle. If you have one of these licenses, head on over to your account page to download. If you currently have a Basic Bundle license and want to get access to Blox add-ons, you can also upgrade your license from your account page. Don’t have any license yet? Check out the Pricing page to purchase your very own copy of Blox!
